A Social Media & Branding Blog

Karina Spritze is a first generation Latina in Los Angeles, where she was born and raised. Her creative career path began in 2007 after spending a summer abroad in Madrid, Spain. Inspired to work in Entertainment she started freelancing at Award Shows which lead her to the music industry. She landed a position at Island Def Jam Records, an iconic pop culture record label who had signed talents such as Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Beastie Boys, among others. There she met a music manager who scouted her as an assistant to a prominent music director and radio personality at a Top 40 radio station. During the four years working alongside major music influencers, she was invited to travel to private music events, recording sessions, and made long-lasting relationships.

Changing cultures and industries challenges your status quo and the way of thinking so that you can look at a problem from a new angle.

In 2012, she took a break from the business and spent half a year in Europe where she studied English Literature and Anthropology at Lincoln College, University of Oxford. She took this time to travel to many countries, learn different cultures, and explore. Upon her return to Los Angeles, she took a gig as a tour assistant to singer Kelly Rowland followed by a temporary position helping her friend at Showtime Network's Talent and Special Events department. Her next ambition would be to work at a Fortune 500 company to develop her business management skills and sure enough, she landed a major post at The Estee Lauder Companies working with a sales VP in a leading prestige skincare and makeup brand.

Karina has traveled to many unforgettable places such as Japan, Costa Rica, Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Croatia, London, Jamaica, all of which has given her a wholesome intellect. She and her husband now reside in the West Hollywood Hills where she continues to grow professionally at ELC and runs the Marketing, Social and Client Relations for their personal training services, Project Fitness LA.  When she not writing about herself in third person, she is away from her computer, going to the beach, mediating, exercising, traveling, reading, watching foreign films, romancing, listening to music, and being around other creative people.

Living and working internationally gave me a fresh perspective and an appetite for out-of-the-box experiences.
